Some of the attractions and activities below are designed with kids in mind, but you’re sure to have a great time whether you’re five years old or 95.

Sun-n-Fun Lagoon Water Park

Sun-n-Fun Lagoon opens its doors on Memorial Day weekend, and if your family enjoys splashing, sliding, and swimming, this is the place to be. It features five water slides that top out at 38 feet high, Sunny’s River (a lazy river nearly a mile in length), and Family Falls, which offers a bit of a reprieve from the action at the slides. Young kids will love The Cove, with activities intended for kids ages five to 12, and toddlers will have a blast in the Tadpole Pool with just 18 inches of water at its deepest part.

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is on a mission to protect the area’s environment, including the water and wildlife, for generations to come. It features an incredible nature center that was just completely refurbished in a $5 million renovation project. Across 21 acres, you’ll find indoor and outdoor exhibits focused on the unique ecosystem and electric boat tours with guides pointing out the local plants and animals. The Susan and William Dalton Discovery Center is much like a children’s museum, with lots of hands-on activities to enjoy. Proceeds from these attractions are used to rescue wildlife and provide sanctuaries for endangered species.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

The Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is nationally accredited, and both locals and tourists alike agree that it’s one of the best attractions the city has to offer. The sprawling park spans 52 acres, and a single ticket provides each guest with access to a wide range of exhibits and shows. You can even take a boat cruise to the famous Primate Island, where monkeys and lemurs spend their days playing in their sanctuary. It takes about four hours to tour the entire facility, but many families agree that it’s easily an all-day adventure. You’ll find all kinds of dining, a gift shop, and wheelchair or wagon rentals for accessibility and comfort.

Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center

It features a massive 2,300 gallon aquarium with a feature that your kids will love - a pop-out bubble! You can also take a walk through the beautiful mangroves tp a spot where locals claim you can spot wild manatees if you get lucky. THe Environmental Learning Center is just one feature in the 110,000 acre Rookery Bay area, which hosts all kinds of exciting events year-round.
